ABOUT ELPIX

A journey behind the lens, shaped over the years.

CREATIVE DIRECTION  VISUAL STORYTELLING

I started ELPIX — short for Ethan Li Pictures — in 2015, in the early days of building something that felt truly my own.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients and projects, each one shaping the way I see, create, and refine my craft.

For me, it has never been just about capturing images. It’s about a constant process of learning, developing, and understanding — both technically and creatively. Just as important is the ability to listen, communicate, and guide clients toward what feels right for their project.

I’m drawn to creating visuals that feel considered and honest — work that balances aesthetics with intention, and always serves a purpose beyond the frame.

Working Together

Every project begins with understanding — not assumptions.
Rather than applying a fixed formula, I work closely with each client to define the right visual language for the space, brand, and audience.

  1. Initial Conversation
A discussion around goals, audience, and context.

  2. Creative Direction
Defining pacing, tone, and visual intent.

  3. Production
Filming conducted with control, restraint, and attention to detail.

  4. Post-Production
Colour, rhythm, and refinement tailored to the project.

  5. Delivery
Assets prepared for their intended platforms and longevity.
